Tea Tree Care

Tea Tree Oil is a natural ingredient that is becoming increasingly common in skin care products. Tea Tree Oil is native to Australia and is extracted from the needles of the Melaleuca Alternifolia Tree. The pure oil has traditionally been known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties and soothes inflammation of the skin. In skin care, the oil is used for acne and helps take care of blemished skin. Pure oil should only be used to dot pimples, for example. It is important that the oil is always diluted in a base oil or cream (maximum dosage 5-10%).

Note: not everyone tolerates Tea Tree Oil well. Overuse can quickly cause skin irritation. In pedicure, Tea Tree Oil is also applied to foot fungi and fungal nails. In hair care, it is used for good hygiene.
